Dr. Brownridge was
born in Santa Cruz and grew up in Vallejo,
CA. He graduated from Southern Oregon
State College in 1975 with a B.A. in
Biochemistry. In 1979 he graduated
from the University of Pacific in San
Francisco and began practicing at Hughes
Dental Group in September of that year.
Dr. Brownridge is a member of Tau Kappa
Omega Dental Honor Society, Santa Clara
Dental Society, California Dental Society,
American Dental Society, and Delta
Sigma Delta Dental Society. He spends
many hours in continuing education
to keep current with trends in technology. |

Born in Bend, Oregon, Dr. Carter
moved to Palo Alto at age 3. He attended
Palo Alto High School, graduating in
1961. After high school he attended
San Jose State University and the University
of Pacific Dental School. Following
graduation from dental school in 1968,
Dr. Carter served 3 years in the U.S.
Army with the 47th Detached Medical
Division in Fairbanks, Alaska. |

In 1999 she matriculated into the University of Pacific, Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She graduated in 2002 and moved back to Las Vegas where she opened a dental office. In 2004 she married Dr. Drexel, whom she met in dental school. She moved back to the bay area and teamed up with Dr. Derby whose office she took over in 2006 when Dr. Derby retired. She has been practicing dentistry happily since that time. She keeps up to date on the latest
in dentistry and has had a lot of fun
doing the invisible braces called invisalign
amongst other procedures. She loves
her job and gives it all her effort
to make sure her patients are happy

Dr. Thomas A. Hughes, son of the
group's founder Dr. John A. Hughes,
grew up in Santa Clara county. He earned
his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry
in 1984 from UC Davis. He received
his D.D.S. degree from University of
the Pacific School of Dentistry in
1987 and joined the practice that year.
Dr. Hughes is a member of the American
Dental Association, California Dental
Association, and the Santa Clara Dental
Society. |

Dr. Loomer was raised in Orange
County, California, and graduated from
California State College at Fullerton
in 1969 with a B.A. in Biological Science. |

Dr. Marks earned his B.S. degree
from U.C. Berkeley and his D.D.S. degree
from University of Pacific School of
Dentistry. He associated at various
dental offices prior to joining Hughes
Dental Group in 1988. Dr. Marks especially
enjoys cosmetic dentistry and tooth
replacement dentistry. |
